The princess is in the next castle, forever
And clickbait freed from human frailty
Infinite games
The princess is in the next castle, forever.
AI generates infinite Mario levels! Ok, please excuse us while we go to do some…research. Code available here.
Meanwhile, BuzzFeed is using AI to generate infinite quizzes (a product they, uncreatively, call Infinity Quizzes (come on BuzzFeed, isn’t this supposed to be what you’re good at?)).
Clickbait will no longer be restrained by human frailty. Everyone has a weakness and the machine will find yours! You’ll never be free.
If the singularity is brought to us by BuzzFeed and the universe is converted to a machine where simulated humans are forced to click links until the heat death of the universe… Ugh, at least Skynet was cool.

Grease:
Take on BuzzFeed directly! The bar to a clickbait empire just dropped to an OpenAI api key.
Quizzes for business. Build quizzes for internal training (already some competition here, but we believe in you)
Take every game and make it infinite!
HR and AI
HR tech has been big over the last few years and the AI has taken notice.
Moonhub goes after the hiring market…with AI! Some of what they’re talking about falls in the how-does-this-not-already-exist category which is a good sign for them.
Navan gives your expense reports to the machine. Another activity that humans shouldn’t be doing anyway.
Otter launches its AI meeting assistant. No longer do we all have to avoid eye contact when someone asks, “Who’s taking notes today?”
Grease:
Frankly, take any of these and whip up a competitor. Fast follow, greasy friends, fast follow.
Find a struggling HR app, buy them up, put out a press release that you’re adding AI.
Go through an org chart. Find every obscure role. Put out an AI app that replaces what that person is doing today. Their boss will thank you.
Updates
AI photo app trend is apparently “over”. So, we now have a data point on the length of individual AI hype cycles. You have about 3 weeks. We believe in your ability to churn out apps faster than that. Don’t let us down.
